Big Data Institute (Public Organization) is revolutionizing healthcare services with Big Data platforms and data-driven decision making. You will join the technical team responsible for Health Link, a national health information exchange. Health Link allows doctors to access patient data from hospitals nationwide via its web application, as well as provides the digital foundation necessary for enabling health data analytics, telemedicine, and predictive care for all.
We are currently focused on implementing Health Link in the Bangkok metropolitan area. Our development efforts are aimed at streamlining public and private hospital business processes with Health Link services. This means that innovation and resilience are required to overcome technical obstacles and business requirements that constantly evolve. In this environment, you will nurture a startup mindset and work habit that will be essential for future endeavors.
You will be able to work with highly motivated individuals and skilled engineers in implementing Thailand’s national health data information platform at scale. In this regard, you will be responsible for designing technical solutions, operations, and vendor management. Your duties include diagnosing and assessing Health Link technical capabilities and functionalities, and our internal services and technology stack. On top of system analysis and bug tracking, you will also be part of developing internal processes in synergy with information technology policy, security, and privacy.
Computer science or engineering related degree
Fluent in English and Thai both verbal and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience and involvement in web application design using backend frameworks (such as Node.js, Next.js, FastAPI, etc.), application programming interfaces (APIs), and messaging concepts (such as sockets, queues, RPCs, etc.)
Conceptual understanding of front-end frameworks (React), tools (such as Redux, context, storage/cookies, etc.), and web page life cycle
Understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases
Familiarity with microservice architectures, Kubernetes, and Jenkins deployment pipelines
Comprehension of data life cycle and privacy requirements
Experience with testing business logic, assessing UI/UX design, SIT/UAT, and evaluating security risks
Knowledge of ETL processes and design necessary for enabling business intelligence capabilities (such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
